Best practice - a solution for drying containers after sterilization
We have developed a solution for drying containers after sterilization for our client, who specializes in the production of infusion solutions.
Drying containers/bottles before applying labels or shrink wrap is a mandatory process for companies in the food and pharmaceutical industries. However, if a bottle has a wet surface after sterilization or washing, applying a label or shrink film can cause production line downtime and poor-quality results. That was the problem that the client turned to BIBUS Ukraine.
The task was to develop an effective solution for drying pharmaceutical bottles after sterilization.
We developed a turnkey solution using an FPZ K09 MS IE3 5.5 kW blower and FPZ Windblade air knives sized at 600 mm (2 pcs) and 400 mm (1 pc).
Thanks to the proposed solution from BIBUS Ukraine, the client succeeded:
➡️ Achieve 100% efficiency when applying labels;
➡️ Avoid involving staff in the visual inspection of the bottle surface;
➡️ Reduce to zero the number of cases related to poor shrink wrap installation on the bottle.
