The vane hydraulic pump is a pump (hydraulic machine), which consists of blades mounted on a rotor that rotates inside the cavity.
The principle of operation of the vane hydraulic pump
The principle of operation of the vane hydraulic pump is as follows:
Under the action of torque on the pump shaft, the rotor of the hydraulic machine comes into rotation. Under the action of centrifugal force (or under the action of the elastic force of the springs under the vanes), the vanes are pressed against the stator housing, resulting in the formation of two cavities that are hermetically separated from each other. The volume of one of the cavities gradually increases (in this cavity is suction), and at the same time the volume of the other cavity gradually decreases (from this cavity is the injection of working fluid).
Lamellar hydraulic pumps are usually made of single action and double action. In single-acting pumps, the suction and pressure process is carried out once per revolution of the hydraulic machine shaft, and in double-acting hydraulic pumps - twice.
Vane hydraulic pumps can be unregulated and regulated. Only single-acting pumps can be regulated.
Compared to gear pumps, vane pumps create a more uniform supply, and compared to piston pumps - cheaper, simpler in design and less demanding to filter the working fluid.
Vane hydraulic pumps are used in hydraulic systems of metalworking machines, presses, oil pumping systems, municipal equipment for oil supply to the working bodies.
Vane pumps can be single-flow, two-flow, etc.
In single-flow hydraulic pumps there is one suction line and one discharge line, in two-flow in turn there is one suction and two discharge lines.
