Direct Drive Rotary

Kollmorgen used 50 years electormechanical and electromagnetical experience in their Direct Drive Rotary and Direct Drive Linear system solutions. The DDR and DDL engines will use more and more frequent, as shown beneficial properties in addition to conventional servo systems.

These direct drives using the advantages of conventional servo systems, but these drives have not mechanical transmission, that’s why increase the accuracy of system and reduce the maintenance costs. These drives directly connecting to driven loads and lose the components of conventional drive systems.
